Employment Rates and Student Placement  

Faith Theological Seminary does not currently calculate or publish a formal graduate employment or job-placement rate. This measure has limited applicability to the institution’s mission and student population because many students are already employed in churches, ministries, or other professions when they enroll. Other students pursue theological education for personal enrichment, preparation for volunteer ministry, advancement within an existing ministry position, or service in settings where employment information is not consistently reported.

Accordingly, the Seminary does not represent that it prepares every student for placement into a new position immediately following graduation, nor does it make employment-rate claims in its recruitment or public communications.

The Seminary evaluates student achievement and institutional effectiveness through measures that are more closely aligned with its mission, including student retention, program completion, graduation rates, achievement of program learning outcomes, student and alumni feedback, ministry involvement, and evidence that graduates are applying their education in church, ministry, academic, and community settings.

The Seminary recognizes the value of understanding graduates’ vocational and ministry outcomes and is strengthening its alumni follow-up process to collect available information concerning employment, continued education, ministry service, and other post-graduation activities. Because participation in alumni surveys is voluntary and graduates serve in diverse vocational and ministry contexts, any future outcome data will be reported with appropriate explanations regarding response rates, limitations, and methodology.
